	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, April 27, 2022, 6:00 p.m., and Thursday, April 28, 2022, 6:00 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, will be hosting a Public Information Meeting regarding the resurfacing of State Road (SR) 5/US 1. Milling and resurfacing of SR 5 will occur from North of 6th Avenue to 12th Street. The project also includes the installation of new sidewalks in areas where they are currently missing, installation of bike lanes throughout project limits, reconstruction of pedestrian sidewalk curb ramps, lighting upgrades at the intersections of 8th Street and 12th Street to improve pedestrian lighting at the crosswalks, pedestrian signalization upgrades at the intersections of 8th Street and 12th Street, and replacement and upgrades of signage impacted by construction. The Public Information Meeting will be conducted with both an in-person and a virtual meeting. Participants are invited to attend either in person or virtually. The virtual meeting will include a brief presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session. The in-person meeting will have an informal open house format with project representatives available to answer questions and provide assistance at any time during the meeting.
