PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rulemaking is to adopt definitions, establish statewide renewable energy goals, require electric utilities to send their 10-year site plans, prepared pursuant to section 186.801, F.S., to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and require the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to take certain internal actions regarding renewable energy.

SUMMARY:

Adopts definitions, establishes statewide renewable energy goals, requires electric utilities to send their 10-year site plans, prepared to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and requires the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to take certain internal actions regarding renewable energy.
