	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	The in-person option will begin on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 5:30 PM. The virtual meeting will begin on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 5:30 PM.

PLACE:	The in-person option will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 14200 Hopewell Ave., Port Charlotte, FL 33981. The virtual meeting can be attended via a computer, tablet, or mobile device (register in advance at http://bit.ly/3yhGCGv. Please note, Internet Explorer cannot be used to register or attend this webinar. Dial-in attendees may join as listen-only participants by calling +1 (415) 930-5321 and using access code 250-245-696 when prompted.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, invites you to a hybrid Public Meeting being held for the State Road (SR) 776 (El Jobean Rd.) from the Myakka River to East of Willowbend Drive project. The project will consist of milling and resurfacing the pavement, ADA improvements, the replacement of existing signage and damaged drainage structures, and median modifications at the intersections of SR 776 and Sturkie Ave and Pambar Ave. The meeting is being held to give attendees the opportunity to learn about the project, engage with the project staff, and share thoughts and comments. FDOT will accept written comments before, during, and after the meeting. You may choose any combination of the options provided below to review the materials and to submit your comments. Attend in-person on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 5:30 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, 14200 Hopewell Ave., Port Charlotte, FL 33981; register in advance at http://bit.ly/3yhGCGv to attend virtually through a computer, tablet, or mobile device on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 5:30 PM (dial-in attendees may join as listen-only participants by calling +1 (415) 930-5321 and using access code 250-245-696 when prompted); or review the meeting materials online through the project website at http://swflroads.com/sr776/myakkatowillowbend/. Please note, Internet Explorer cannot be used to register or attend this webinar. Meeting materials will be made available for public review at by May 23, 2022. A copy of these materials will also be displayed at the in-person event. Comments can be provided through the project website. FDOT is sending a notice to all property owners and tenants within at least 300 feet on either side of the project and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in the project. FDOT encourages all interested people to attend and express their views regarding the project and information presented.
