	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	The Virtual Public Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The In-person Construction Open House is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Virtual Public Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Please use the following link to register: https://bit.ly/GravityWall-VPM or dial (914) 614-3221, Access Code: 673-477-089. A brief presentation followed by questions and comments will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please note, questions and comments may be submitted via online chat or with the raise the hand feature for the project team to address directly. The In-person Construction Open House is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park ‘Amphitheater’ located at 10900 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach, Florida 33408. The park entry fee will be waived upon letting the Park Ranger know you are there for the Construction Open House. This meeting will have an informal open house format, with project representatives available to answer questions and address comments at any time during the meeting.

Subject:	FPID: 441752-1-52-01 Project Description: State Road (SR) A1A Gravity Wall Replacement Project Adjacent to John D. MacArthur Beach State Park in Palm Beach County, Florida Project improvements include replacing the existing gravity wall with a sheet pile wall, replacing sidewalk, curb and gutter, and fencing, milling, and resurfacing the roadway, upgrading pavement markings and signing to the latest standards. Lane closures are permitted Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Two-way traffic will be maintained by a flag crew. Construction will occur in phases to minimize impacts to the public. The regulatory speed limit will be reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph within the project limits. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout construction. No impacts on John D. MacArthur State Park are anticipated. During Phase 2 (of 2), a full roadway closure will be required nightly, Sunday through Thursday, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for milling, resurfacing and pavement markings; advanced notice will be provided with motorist and pedestrian detours clearly marked. Construction will begin June 27, 2022 and is estimated to be completed in early 2023. The estimated construction cost is $2.3 million. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
