	The South Florida Water Management District announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 9:00 AM 2022 Aquifer Storage and Recovery Peer Review Panel Technical Workshop

Subject:	The District is hosting a technical workshop with an independent scientific peer review panel for the District’s efforts related to aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) wells. The workshop will include the progress of ASR well studies conducted for the Lake Okeechobee Watershed Restoration Project (LOWRP) as components of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan. Additionally, there will be discussions on scientific investigations related to ASR wells, water quality treatment technology evaluation, ecological studies, and upcoming ASR well implementation for the LOWRP. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment during the workshop by utilizing the following link: https://sfwmd-gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_jQHGbizHRtyUsK8Y4oAlCw This link can also be found on the District’s website at www.SFWMD.gov/meetings, and will go live shortly before 9:00 AM on June 15, 2022. One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this workshop. No Governing Board action will be taken.
