	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	June 7, 2022, 5:30-7:30 PM

PLACE:	State College of Florida, Selby Room, Manatee-Sarasota, 8000 South Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293

Subject:	Second Notice - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One invites you and your constituents to attend a public meeting open house on Tuesday, June 7, from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. as part of the design process for the proposed road resurfacing and median modification on US 41 from north of Port Commons (North Port) to State College of Florida. The proposed project will mill and resurface the six-mile stretch of roadway and include a median modification at US 41 and Hoffman Street to improve roadway safety by reducing conflict points. All project information, including the in-person meeting presentation, will be available on the project website following the meeting at www.swflroads.com/us41/portcommonstostatecollegeofflorida/ under Documents. Public Comment All interested persons are invited to give comments on the project. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to talk with project team members during the open house. Online attendees will be able to submit their questions in the question box. All written questions or comments will be responded to in writing following the public meeting. Comments received or postmarked to the FDOT Project Manager, Kellie Spurgeon, by June 17, 2022, will be included in the public record.
