	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 1:30p.m.–5:30p.m. to Wednesday, June 29, 2022, 8:30a.m.–5:00p.m.

PLACE:	Hyatt Regency Sarasota, 1000 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236

Subject:	During the February 2021 Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission meeting, the Commissioners directed staff to develop a Technical Assistance Group (TAG) to help address nonnative fish and wildlife issues in Florida. The purpose of this TAG is to enhance and promote ongoing dialogue and mutual understanding among organizations and agencies, and their respective stakeholders, by working together to address and examine the regulatory structure for nonnative fish and wildlife in Florida. The objectives of this June 2022 meeting in Sarasota will be for TAG members to examine the Commission’s current regulatory structure regarding nonnative fish and wildlife as well as alternative regulatory structures and examples. TAG members will discuss these various approaches and possible refinements for the Commission to consider. The TAG will not serve as an advisory committee, nor is it delegated any decision-making authority.
