Overview



	The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, 9:30 a.m. EDT.

PLACE:	Johnson Education Center auditorium at Florida Atlantic University, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, 5600 N US Highway 1 Fort Pierce, FL 34946, and online.

Subject:	Because Basin Management Action Plans and other water quality restoration plans present a strong opportunity to affect water quality restoration and help reduce the occurrence and severity of harmful algal blooms, the Blue-Green Algae Task Force will convene to hear presentations on these restoration plans and existing policy framework for the prioritization of restoration projects. The task force will discuss options to enhance prioritization opportunities.
