Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four, announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, September 28, 2022 (online) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 29, 2022 (in-person) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Marriott Palm Beach Gardens located at 4000 RCA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410

Subject:	Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) project along PGA Boulevard from east of State Road (SR) 9/I-95 to east of Fairchild Gardens Avenue (Palm Beach County). The construction start date is Spring 2024 with an anticipated completion by Summer 2025. This project has an estimated construction cost of $3.30 million and these are the proposed improvements: • Update pedestrian curb ramps, including new yellow detectable warning pads, to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. • Improve signing and pavement markings. • Upgrade lighting and pedestrian signals at Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue and Fairchild Gardens Avenue intersections. • Install advance warning flashers facing eastbound traffic in advance of the Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue signalized intersection. • Upgrade traffic signal vehicular video detection systems and controller cabinets. The Public Information Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. virtually via GoToMeeting and in person on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Marriott Palm Beach Gardens, located at 4000 RCA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. Notices are being sent to all property owners and tenants located within 300 feet of the project and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in the project. FDOT solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
