	The The Florida Department of Transportation, District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Virtual - Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 5:00 p.m./ In Person - Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, will be hosting a public meeting regarding the resurfacing, restoration and rehabilitation of State Road (SR) A1A/East Dania Beach Boulevard from SR 5/US 1 to Gulfstream Road in the City of Dania Beach. The project includes repaving the existing travel lanes along SR A1A/East Dania Beach Boulevard from SR 5/US1 to Gulfstream Road, reconstructing sidewalk curb ramps at various intersections and commercial driveways to meet Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards, upgrading existing light poles and installing new light poles with LED lights at pedestrian crossings, upgrading the pedestrian mid-block crossing east of SE 2nd Avenue, drainage improvements and signing and pavement markings. The purpose of this project is to resurface the roadway and enhance pedestrian safety. The public meeting will be held virtually and in-person. The online session will begin on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. with a brief presentation beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by questions and comments from the public. The in- person session will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022, and will have an informal open house format. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
