Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. is the In-person Construction Open House, and Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. is the Virtual Public Meeting.

The in-person session will be at the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, located at 2937 W Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.

Subject:	Financial Management No.: 439754-1-52-01 Project Description: SR 9/I-95 Northbound and Southbound Off-Ramps at Midway Road Improvements Project in the City of Port St. Lucie The project improvements consist of adding a second-left turn lane to both the SR 9/I-95 northbound and southbound off-ramps at Midway Road (Exit 126); widening and repaving the existing SR 9/I-95 off-ramps; upgrading traffic signals with new mast arm poles and improving signalization timing and alignment; implementing Wrong Way Driving Countermeasure Systems; and upgrading existing highway lighting along with new signing and pavement markings. Construction will begin in November 2022 and is estimated to be completed in Summer 2023. The estimated construction cost is $2.6 million. The Construction Open House will be held virtually and in person. The virtual public meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a brief presentation followed by questions and comments from the public. The in-person open house will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will have an informal open house format. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
