	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, will hold a virtual and in-person public meeting to present information and gather feedback concerning the State Road (SR) 5/US 1 at Aviation Boulevard Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The Public Kick-Off Meeting is scheduled for October 20, 2022 (Virtual), and October 26, 2022 (In-Person). There are two ways to participate in the meeting: Virtual: Persons who do not wish to attend the Public Kick-Off Meeting in person can join the meeting virtually at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022. If using a mobile device, the free “GoToWebinar” application is required to attend. Please allow adequate log-in time to view the presentation in its entirety. In-Person: The Public Kick-Off Meeting will be held at the Heritage Center located at 2140 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960 on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. The latest social distancing guidelines will be followed. The Public Kick-Off Meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. as an open house format. The same information will be presented at both the virtual and in person Public Kick-Off Meeting so attending both is not necessary. All exhibits presented at the Public Kick-Off Meeting can be viewed electronically on the project website. Public participation is held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for these projects are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
