RULE:

59A-18.0145

Nurse Registry Excellence Program

PURPOSE:

The Agency proposes to create a new rule within Ch. 59A-18, F.A.C., to implement the provisions of HB 607 (L.O.F. 2020-9) as it relates to Nurse Registry Excellence Program.  Section 400.53, F.S., was created to establish the Nurse Registry Excellence Program. The program designates awards to well-performing nurse registries based on survey performance and other criteria.

SUBJECT:

Rule 59A-18.0145 will outline the guidelines for the Nurse Registry Excellence Program award designation.  The rule establishes the award application form and processing timeframe; standards related to patient and client care satisfaction; independent contract training and retention; enforcement history; and Medicaid requirements.
