Overview



	The Okaloosa County announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, November 17, 2022, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Central Time

PLACE:	Warrior’s Hall, 201 Stillwell Boulevard, Crestview, FL

Subject:	The Northwest Crestview Bypass Alternative Corridor Evaluation (ACE) Study is a high-level planning study that focuses on the feasibility for a westerly bypass around Crestview as a continuation of the Southwest Bypass currently under construction. This northwest segment connects to the Southwest Bypass at US 90 and continues northwesterly to State Road 85. The purpose of this study is to provide regional system connectivity and improve mobility by providing an alternative to State Road 85, and completing the Western Bypass around the City of Crestview, consistent with local plans. The study area extends from US 90 north to Bill Lundy Road. The ACE Study (anticipated complete in 2023) will recommend corridor(s) to advance to the next phase, which is a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. Future phases are not funded. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display at the meeting. A presentation will be provided. County representatives will be available to discuss the study, answer questions, and receive comments. Persons wishing to submit written comments may do so at the meeting or may contact the County Project Manager using the information provided. The deadline to submit official comments related to this public meeting is Friday, December 2, 2022. This meeting is being held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or persons who require translation services (free of charge) should contact the Project Manager at least seven days prior to the meeting.
