	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	Financial Project Identification Number: 440897-3 Project Description: Central Polk Parkway (SR 570B) from US 17 (SR 35) to SR 60 The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) will hold a Design Public Information Meeting for the Central Polk Parkway (SR 570B) project to from US 17 (SR 35) to SR 60. This meeting will give interested persons an opportunity to review the project design and ask questions about the proposed improvements. The proposed improvements are designed to accommodate traffic capacity on the Central Polk Parkway and interchanges to meet anticipated traffic demand. These improvements include a new four-lane, limited access toll road with an interchange at US 17, an intersection at SR 60, and a multiuse trail adjacent to the new roadway. This extension of the Central Polk Parkway will connect to the section of the Central Polk Parkway project to the north scheduled to begin construction in early 2023, providing a direct connection to I-4 via the Polk Parkway (SR 570). This will reduce travel times to Tampa and Orlando, improve freight movements, and relieve congestion on SR 60 and US 98. The proposed multiuse trail will provide a scenic path overlooking native Florida landscapes that will ultimately connect to the regional trail network. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the meeting, along with informational videos. All meeting materials will be available for review the day of the virtual meeting on the project website, www.CentralPolkParkway.com. The Department will provide several options to participate in the meeting. You may participate virtually/online via a computer, tablet, smartphone, or telephone in listen-only mode on November 9, 2022, at 5:30 P.M. Virtual/online and telephone attendees will participate in the same live virtual Public Information Meeting. Alternatively, you may participate in-person on November 10, 2022, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Florida Department of Transportation District One Conference Center, 801 N. Broadway Ave., Bartow, FL. Please visit www.CentralPolkParkway.com to register for the Public Information Meeting and to select your participation option.
