	The City of Plantation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	November 10, 2022, 5:30 p.m.

PLACE:	City of Plantation City Hall, 400 NW 73rd Avenue, Plantation FL 33317

Subject:	The City of Plantation will hold a hybrid public hearing for the above-referenced project on Thursday, November 10, 2022, starting at 5:30 p.m.as an open house followed by a formal presentation and a comment period. The hearing will be conducted in person and on-line at the Plantation City Hall, 400 NW 73 Avenue, Plantation FL 33317, and thru Zoom. To join the on-line meeting, please use the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83788866567?pwd=VmVtNG5mT0RweE93MUlOMGorb2QzQT09 Webinar ID: 837 8886 6567 Passcode: 054136 This public hearing is being held as part of a current Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study that is being conducted to evaluate proposed transportation solutions for congestion management in the Plantation Midtown District and to provide documented information necessary for the City of Plantation to reach a decision on the type, design, and location of the improvements. The project proposes the construction of a new bridge connection over the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) New River Canal between WB SR 84 and SW 17th Street The public hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by FHWA and FDOT. In the event that the Public Hearing cannot be held on November 10, 2022 due to severe weather or other unforeseen conditions, it will be held on the alternate date of November 15 at the same time and place. If you would like to review the project documents prior to the Public Hearing, they will be available to the public beginning on October 20, 2022 at the Plantation City Hall located at 400 NW 73 Avenue, Plantation FL 33317 Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). The documents are also available on the project website at http://www.plantation.org/MidtownBridge. The documents will remain on display through November 20, 2022. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
