	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	In-Person -Wednesday, November 30, 2022, 5 – 7 p.m. “open house” and Live Online – Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 6 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to a workshop for the State Road (SR) 29 Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study Re-evaluation from CR 80A (Cowboy Way) to north of CR 731 (Whidden Road) in Hendry County. The purpose of this PD&E Study Re-evaluation is to improve traffic operations, access, and mobility along SR 29. FDOT anticipates this project will also enhance safety along the project corridor; improve emergency evacuation; and improve access between Hendry and Glades Counties. The no-build alternative, where no improvements other than routine maintenance are made to SR 29, will remain viable throughout the remainder of this study. The SR 29 PD&E Study Re-evaluation Workshop is being held to present information regarding the proposed design to SR 29 and to gather feedback from the public. You can participate in the workshop live online or in-person. The same materials will be displayed at both the online and in-person events, and will also be posted by November 23, 2022 on the project website at (http://swflroads.com/project/417878-8). The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022 and executed by FHWA and FDOT.
