The Department of Environmental Protection announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

This is the second public rule development workshop for proposed amendments to Chapter 62-6, Florida Administrative Code, (F.A.C.), Standards for Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems. The amendments reflect legislative changes pursuant to subsection 381.0065(8), Florida Statutes, Private Provider Inspections, Chapter 2022-105, Laws of Florida, SB856. Amendments to the rule define authority for private provider inspectors to inspect an Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System when qualified as a private provider and upon written authorization by the owner of the system.
