Other Assessment Procedures for College-Level Communication and Computation Skills

PURPOSE:

To update the mathematics coursework to align with the new mathematics pathways established pursuant to section 1007.23(3), F.S., which was created through the passage of Senate Bill 366 (2021).

SUMMARY:

The rule establishes the required coursework students attending public postsecondary institutions must successfully complete to demonstrate college-level writing and mathematics skills prior to the receipt of an Associate of Arts degree or entry into the upper division.
