	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), The (nam announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	Financial Project Identification Numbers 446223-1 and 446224-1 Project Description: Add Auxiliary Lanes to the Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) from State Road 821 to Griffin Road (SR 818); Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O) Project; Broward County, Florida The Florida Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, will hold a Design Public Information Meeting for the Add Auxiliary Lanes to Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) from State Road 821 to Griffin Road (SR 818) projects in Broward County, Florida. This meeting will give interested persons an opportunity to review the project design and ask questions about the proposed improvements. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the meeting, along with informational videos. All meeting materials will be available for review the day of the virtual meeting on the project website. The projects’ objective is to provide capacity and safety improvements along the Florida’s Turnpike with minimal impact to the existing Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) lines. This is a Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O) project which converts a portion of the existing shoulder along with minor widening to add auxiliary lanes to the mainline Turnpike. The proposed improvements increase the capacity from six (6) lanes to eight (8) lanes from State Road (SR) 821 (milepost 47.0) to Griffin Road (milepost 54.0) and will include one auxiliary lane in each direction. As part of the project, the Hollywood Boulevard interchange ramps will be modified. Signalization upgrades, access management changes and milling and resurfacing are proposed along Hollywood Boulevard. Noise walls will be constructed throughout the project where reasonable and feasible. The TSM&O projects are intended to be an interim condition until a new Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study and subsequent design are completed for the ultimate capacity need. The Department will provide several options to participate in the public meeting.
