Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, January 26, 2023; 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. (CST)

PLACE:	Virtual (Online): Register at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings In-person: Hiland Park Baptist Church, 2611 U.S. 231, Panama City, FL

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a hybrid public meeting to present information concerning the U.S. 231 (State Road 75) at Pipeline Road intersection improvements project in Bay County. This meeting is being held both virtually and in-person to provide interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed improvements. Citizens are strongly encouraged to attend the virtual format by registering online at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend the meeting in-person. The intent of this project is to add a traffic signal at the U.S. 231 and Pipeline Road intersection, realign Pipeline Road to create an aligned intersection, and add dedicated left turn lanes on Pipeline Road in both directions. Minor right-of-way acquisition will be required. Bids for construction are scheduled to occur in 2025. Maps, drawings and other information is available for review online at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. The project materials may also be viewed by contacting the FDOT Project Manager at the information below. Interested persons can visit the project website at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings and register for one viewing option (virtual or in-person). The same materials will be presented for each format. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. The deadline to submit official comments related to this public meeting is Monday, February 6, 2023. Public participation is held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
