	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 2 announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	Project Description: Financial Project Identification Number: 442778-1 I-95 improvements from I-10 to north of Beaver Street in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. A Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study is underway to evaluate alternatives to improve safety, capacity, and traffic operations on I-95 from I-10 to Beaver Street. The proposed project will add up to two 12-foot travel lanes in each direction on I-95 and includes the Myrtle Avenue Bridge (Bridge No. 720163) deck replacement and rehabilitation. Access changes are also proposed. In August 2022, FDOT held a virtual and in-person Public Kickoff meeting for the I-95 Improvements from I-10 to Beaver Street PD&E study. At these meetings, residents and interested stakeholders were able to review the project and provide comments regarding the improvements. Since that time, changes have been made to the proposed project and these changes will be presented at the hearing. For your convenience, there are several options to participate in the public hearing including an in-person option, a virtual/online option, and a dial-in option. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information on the proposed project and all comments received in-person, virtually or electronically will be given equal weight and included as part of the public record for this hearing. Laura St., Jacksonville, FL 32202. Persons wishing to submit written comments may do so at the public hearing, on the project website or mail/email them to the address below no later than February 16, 2023. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
