Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	February 15, 2023, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	In person at the FDOT Urban Office Training Center, 2198 Edison Ave Jacksonville, FL 32204; online at nflroads.com/VPH; by phone at (631) 992-3221, access code 816-697-148.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to a public meeting to discuss proposed improvements as part of a resurfacing project on State Road 211 from San Juan Avenue to I-95 (FIN 445431-1), currently scheduled to start in summer 2024. In addition to milling and resurfacing, proposed improvements include the addition of bike lanes, shared use lane markings, sidewalk upgrades, signage, and lighting upgrades. Under the preliminary plans, to enhance safety, some parking would be removed to improve intersection/driveway sight lines. However, frequently used parking with a safe operation history will remain. The meeting will begin with an open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period at 6 p.m. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status. Project documents and virtual participation instructions are available at www.FDOT.gov/VPH. Participants who are unable to attend online or in-person may listen to the hearing by calling (631) 992-3221 and entering access code 816-697-148. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will be able to view project documents, ask questions and make comments for the public record.
