RULE:

61-35.008

Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Departmental Forms

PURPOSE:

The proposed rulemaking seeks to amend Existing Rule 61-35.008, F.A.C., to revise application forms DBPR BCAIB 1, 2, 3, 4, and 8 to update examination and reexamination fees.  The fees that applicants pay to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation are being reduced to offset the increase in fees applicants will pay to the testing vendor for examinations/reexaminations; total cost to the applicant will not increase. In addition, DBPR BCAIB 7 has been amended for internal processing clarification. The proposed rulemaking also seeks to adopt DBPR BCAIB 10 and 11, which have not previously been adopted by rule.

SUMMARY:

Within the provided paragraph the Department proposes to amend Rule 61-35.008 to adopt the forms.
