	The Central Florida Expressway Authority announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	Project No. 408-174 Project Description: State Road 408 Capacity Improvements Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is holding a public meeting for the State Road 408 Capacity Improvements Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The purpose of the study is to develop alternatives for capacity improvements on westbound and eastbound SR 408 between Kirkman Road and Church Street. More than 164,000 vehicles per day travel on SR 408 near downtown Orlando. This study has evaluated alternatives for improving traffic flow by adding one travel lane in each direction within the project limits. If construction is approved, most of the work would occur within CFX’s existing SR 408 right of way. CFX developed and evaluated alternatives with the goal of determining a preferred alternative. All factors related to the design and location of the project were considered, including transportation needs, financial feasibility, social impacts, economic factors, environmental impacts, engineering analysis and right-of-way requirements.
