Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. CDT

PLACE:	Courtyard by Marriott, 100 Grand Blvd, Miramar Beach, FL 32550

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation District Three will host a public information open house, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. regarding improvements and access management changes to the U.S. 98/Goldsby Road intersection in Walton County. To improve safety, a directional median opening will be constructed within the U.S. 98 median at the Goldsby Road intersection. The left-turn movement from Goldsby Road to access U.S. 98 eastbound will be removed. When complete, drivers on Goldsby Road will make a right onto U.S. 98 westbound, proceed to the Mack Bayou Road intersection, and make a U-turn to travel eastbound on U.S. 98. The work is part of the U.S. 98 widening project from Mack Bayou Road to County Road 30A. This meeting will be held virtually and in-person to offer information about the upcoming improvements and provide an opportunity for inquiries and comments. Maps, graphics and other information will be on display. There will be no formal presentation; however, representatives from FDOT will be available to discuss the project plans, answer questions, and receive comments.
