	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Virtual Public Hearing: March 27, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. (Options 1 and 2) In-Person Public Hearing: March 29, 2023, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Option 3)

Subject:	Financial Project Identification Numbers: 436194-1 and 436194-3 Project Description: Widen Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) from Neptune Road to north of Osceola Parkway The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise will hold a Public Hearing for the above-referenced project. The objective of this Public Hearing is to address changes in the design from the Project Development and Environment Study (PD&E) related to the number of travel lanes on the mainline Turnpike. This hearing will give interested persons an opportunity to review the project design and ask questions about the proposed improvements. The proposed improvements include widening the roadway from four lanes to eight lanes and adding a median-separating barrier wall. Additional enhancements include a northbound on-ramp, southbound on-ramp and southbound off-ramp at the SR 500/US 192/US 441 interchange, replacement of existing bridges crossing the Turnpike mainline, cross-street modifications to accommodate bridge replacements, operational improvements at the Osceola Parkway Interchange, installation of Electronic Toll Collection structures, signage, pavement markings, signalization, Intelligent Transportation System and lighting upgrades, drainage improvements, and construction of noise walls. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the hearing, along with informational videos. All hearing materials will be available for review the day of the virtual hearing on the project website, www.TurnpikeNeptunetoOsceola.com. The Enterprise will provide several options as shown above to participate in the hearing. Information presented at all attendance options will be the same. Please note that registration works best in the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox web browsers. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions on how to join the public hearing online. The virtual Public Hearing will begin with a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m. followed by a public comment period. The in-person Public Hearing will begin with an informal open house at 5:30 p.m., continue with a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m., and conclude with a public comment period.
