Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, April 4, 2023

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to a public hearing for the US 27 Median Modification Safety Improvements in various locations along US 27 in Highlands County on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. FDOT is conducting this project to construct median modifications at North Lake Damon Road, Ponce De Leon Boulevard, Whisper Circle, Lake Josephine Drive, and Lake Francis Road. The public hearing is held to present information about the proposed modifications and provides the opportunity for public feedback for the official hearing record. The Department has three ways to participate in the public hearing: through the live online event on April 4, at 6 p.m. at http://bitly.ws/Amqb , by attending the in-person event at the Bert J. Harris Agricultural Center, 4509 George Boulevard, Sebring, FL 33875, or by viewing the materials online through the project webpage https://www.swflroads.com/project/000004-1 . All hearing materials, will be available online on the day of the hearing. You may choose any combination of the options provided to review the materials. Comments can be provided during the hearing event or through the project webpage. All comments must be submitted by April 18, to be included in the formal hearing record. FDOT is sending the attached notice to all property owners and tenants within at least 300 feet on either side of the access changes and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in the project.
