Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, April 18, 2023; 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. (CDT)

PLACE:	Virtual (Online): Register at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings In-person: First Presbyterian Church of Pensacola 33 E. Gregory Street, Pensacola, FL

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a hybrid public meeting to present information concerning the resurfacing of U.S. 98 (Gregory Street) from U.S. 98 (Bayfront Street) to east of Palafox Street and U.S. 98B (Garden Street) from N Street to I-110 Ramp in Escambia County. This meeting is being held both virtually and in-person to provide interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed improvements. Citizens are strongly encouraged to attend the virtual format by registering online at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend the meeting in-person. The intent of these projects is to resurface all travel lanes, auxiliary lanes, median crossovers, and paved shoulders. Additional improvements include: • Resurfacing the southbound ramp from I-110 onto Garden Street • Upgrading pedestrian features to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements • Major drainage improvements on Garden Street from west of H Street to east of B Street • Minor drainage improvements from B Street to the I-110 ramp will occur. No additional right-of-way is required. Bids for construction are scheduled to occur spring 2024. Maps, drawings and other information is available for review online beginning 12 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings. The project materials may also be viewed by contacting the FDOT Project Manager at the information below. Interested persons can visit the project website at www.nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings and register for one viewing option (virtual or in-person). The same materials will be presented for each format. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Persons wishing to submit written comments may do so at the meeting or may contact the FDOT Project Manager using the information provided above. The deadline to submit official comments related to this public meeting is Friday, April 28, 2023. Public participation is held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
