Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	In-person public meeting on Thursday, April 13 2023, at 6:00 p.m. and virtual public meeting on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	The in-person public meeting will take place at the Beach Community Center located at 3351 NE 33rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. Subject:	FDOT, District Four, will hold a public meeting regarding the State Road (SR) 838/Sunrise Boulevard Bridge Project from West of Middle River Drive to East of NW 26th Avenue, over Intercoastal Waterway (Bridge Nos. 860466 and 860467) in Broward County. The project consists of two different segments: the Roadway Project (FPID 446181-1-52-01) and the Bridge Project (FPID 441456-1-52-01). The public meeting will be offered in two different formats: virtual and in-person. The Roadway Project will address the deficient pavement conditions by repaving the existing asphalt pavement. Other improvements include traffic safety, ADA upgrades, signing & pavement markings, lighting, signalization, and drainage improvements. The Bridge Project will provide bridge rehabilitation that will include structural repairment to the bridge, and mechanical and electrical work as well as a tender house parking area. The same information will be presented at both the virtual and in-person Public Meeting, so attending both is not necessary. Both formats will consist of a formal presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. Staff will be available to answer questions and provide assistance. Comments and questions will be answered in the order received. If your question is not answered during the event, a response will be provided in writing following the meeting.
