	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	Financial Project Identification Number 446581-1 Efficient Transportation Decision Making Number: 14445 Project Description: Poinciana Parkway Extension Connector Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from County Road (CR) 532 to North of the Interstate 4/State Road (SR) 429 Interchange in Polk and Osceola Counties, Florida This project is evaluating alternatives to extend Poinciana Parkway (SR 538) from CR 532 to I-4/SR429 interchange, modify existing I-4/SR 429 interchange and CR 532 interchange to accommodate the Poinciana Parkway connection, and increase capacity of the segment of SR 429 from I-4 to Sinclair Road. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by FHWA and FDOT. This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. The Enterprise will provide several options as shown above to participate in the Public Hearing. Information presented at all attendance options will be the same. All hearing materials that will be on display at the in-person hearing, including draft project documents, are available for public review on the project website, www.PoincianaExtension.com. Draft project documents can also be viewed starting April 4, 2023, through May 12, 2023, at (1) West Osceola Branch Library, 305 Campus Street, Celebration, FL 34747 (Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday.: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.); and (2) Haines City Public Library, 111 North 6th Street, Haines City, FL 33844 (Monday-Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) .
