Overview



	The BROWARD COUNTY TRANSIT announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	May 16, 2023 through June 12, 2023

PLACE:	Online via Virtual Workshop: https://premo.broward.org

Subject:	Broward County Transit (BCT) is seeking public input regarding the Premium Mobility Plan (PREMO) and the Premium Network of transit improvements at its virtual workshop. BCT has officially launched PREMO, which will improve the transportation landscape in Broward County. PREMO, as the vision for transit in Broward County, defines a network of premium and high-capacity transit projects. The Premium Network consists of 11.5 miles of Commuter Rail, 23.3 miles of Light Rail Transit (LRT), 76 miles of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and 100 miles of High Frequency Bus. Once implemented, the Premium Network will not only improve the way Broward County connects through the 200 miles of new premium service, it would also significantly increase annual ridership, stimulate economic development, support affordable housing, and expand small business opportunities. With this plan, Broward County will have the framework and infrastructure to support this growing population and comfortably travel into the future. A virtual interactive room will allow participants to review an overview of the plan, the projects included in the plan, and an opportunity to leave comments. The virtual interactive room will be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, from May 16, 2023 through June 12, 2023. During that time, questions will be answered live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00pm to 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and Saturdays at 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Participants can view the virtual interactive room and access the live question and answer sessions by visiting https://premo.broward.org and clicking on the link to access the interactive room. If you need access to a computer, the virtual interactive room will be available at libraries around Broward County.
