	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Subject:	Financial Management No.: 446110-1-52-01 Project Description: SR-5/US-1 Resurfacing Project in the City of Stuart The project improvements on SR-5/US-1 consist of milling and resurfacing the existing roadway excluding SW Joan Jefferson Way to NW Wright Boulevard (no work on the Roosevelt Bridge), drainage improvements, constructing sidewalks to fill in missing gaps, upgrading curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, installing pedestrian pushbutton detectors at signalized intersections, and upgrading pavement markings and lighting at signalized intersections. Construction will begin in June 2023 and is estimated to be completed in Spring 2024. The estimated cost of $12 million. The Construction Open House will be held virtually and in person. The virtual public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a brief presentation followed by questions and comments from the public. The in-person open house is scheduled for Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the City of Stuart City Commission, Commission Chambers, located at 121 SW Flagler Avenue, Stuart, FL 34994, and will have an informal open house format. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
