	The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Subject:	Notice is hereby given that Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) has scheduled a hybrid (virtual/in-person) public meeting regarding the Sunshine State Industrial Park Kiss and Ride Transit Facility & Pedestrian Bridge Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study. The hybrid public meeting will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There are two options for you to attend: Virtual \| The virtual meeting will be held online via Zoom. Registration is required to participate in the online meeting. To attend this virtual meeting, you must register in advance at www.miamidade.gov/virtual-meetings, click Department Meetings and select the meeting on the calendar. In-Person \| The in-person meeting will be held at the North Dade Regional Library Auditorium, 2455 NW 183rd Street, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056. Registration is not required to participate in the in-person meeting. A PD&E study is the formal process that the DTPW and other transportation entities use to ensure that consideration is given to engineering design, project costs, environmental and social impacts, and public input in the development of major transportation projects to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act. The purpose of this PD&E study is to evaluate the potential social, cultural, physical, and environmental impacts of new pedestrian bridges from the Sunshine State Industrial Park area in Miami Gardens to the Golden Glades Tri-Rail Station and the Golden Glades Multimodal Transportation Facility; a future Miami-Dade County Kiss-and-Ride Transit Facility; and enhanced transit connections between the City of Miami Gardens Trolley transit system, Golden Glades Tri-Rail Station, and the Golden Glades Multimodal Transportation Facility. DTPW is inviting all property owners, business owners, interested persons and organizations to this hybrid public meeting provide the opportunity for stakeholders to offer comments and express their views about this project and the proposed improvements. At this hybrid public meeting, the DTPW will present the evaluation of potential environmental effects of the proposed Kiss-and-Ride Transit Facility and pedestrian bridges, garner public feedback, and answer questions about the proposed project. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
