Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	July 11, 2023, 4:30 to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	In person: Extension Office Auditorium (Ag Center), 1025 W. Macclenny Avenue, Macclenny, FL 32063; online: www.nflroads.com/VPH; via phone: (213) 929-4212, access code 530-368-496

Subject:	The public is invited to an access management public meeting to discuss proposed safety improvements at the intersection of State Road 121 and George Hodges Road. To improve safety, a directionalized intersection feature would be incorporated at the intersection of State Road 121 and George Hodges Road. Adding the directionalized design feature would reduce the number of conflict points at the intersection, making the intersection safer for roadway users. Project documents and virtual participation instructions will be available at www.nflroads.com/VPH. Participants who are unable to attend the webinar virtually or in person may listen to the meeting by calling (213) 929-4212 and entering access code 530-368-496. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will be able to view project documents, ask questions and make comments for the public record. Attendees who complete a speaker’s card will have the opportunity to make an oral statement that will become part of the public record. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits in place of or in addition to oral statements may do so at the meeting or by sending them to David Tyler at David.Tyler@dot.state.fl.us or 1109 South Marion Avenue, Lake City, Florida 32025. Exhibits or statements postmarked on or before July 21, 2023, will become part of the public record.
