Overview



	The Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	In Person - Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Campus, The Center for Bachelors Program (CBP): Wattenbarger Conference Center, Room 103, 4200 Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, FL 33461-4796

Subject:	Palm Beach County Department of Airports will be hosting a public meeting regarding a Safety Assessment Study for the Palm Beach County Park Airport. The study will examine the potential implications of rescinding the jet ban at the airport and provide recommendations regarding possible measures to enhance operational safety. The Safety Assessment Study is an inclusive evaluation process that encourages citizen and stakeholder participation. Prior to initiating the study, the DOA will conduct an initial briefing to engage airport stakeholders and members of the surrounding community. The briefing will provide a general overview of the airport, review the study approach, and include an opportunity for stakeholders and community members to share operational and safety concerns. The public meeting will be held in-person on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. with a brief presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by questions and comments from the public. Palm Beach International Airport staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and take public comments. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
