	The Florida Department of Transportation, District Two announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	July 20, 2023, Open House 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Presentation & Public Comment Period: 6:00 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Two invites you to the Hybrid Public Meeting for the SR 24 (Waldo Road) Resurfacing/Lane Repurposing Project (Financial Management No. 447964-1) to discuss the proposed improvements for SR 24 (Waldo Road) from west of NE 141st Drive to US 301 in Alachua County, Florida. This meeting serves to inform the public of the proposed improvements and serves as an official forum providing an opportunity for the public to express their opinions and concerns regarding the project. The project proposes to repurpose SR 24 to serve all users: people who walk, bicycle or drive. The existing two travel lanes along SR 24 (Waldo Road) will be redesigned to safely accommodate motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians. For your convenience, there are several options to participate in the public meeting including an in-person option, a virtual/online options, and a "Listen Only" option. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information on the proposed project and all comments received in-person, virtually or electronically, will be given equal weight.
