	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, July 19, 2023, starting at 6 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a public meeting for the NW 67 Avenue Corridor Improvements Study. The NW 67 Avenue corridor is approximately 0.81 miles long; and is adjacent to the Village of Virginia Gardens and the western section of the Miami International Airport (MIA) in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project identification number is 436426-1-12-01. This corridor study will identify congestion management, safety mitigation strategies, multimodal and accessible transportation options, and innovative technology to improve overall quality of life along NW 67 Avenue. The public meeting will provide the community with the opportunity to be directly engaged in the planning and development process of the study. The study area is divided into the following four segments: • State Road (SR) 948/NW 36 Street (from NW 72 Avenue/Milam Dairy Road to NW 57 Avenue/Curtiss Parkway) • Perimeter Drive (from NW 67 Avenue to NW 57 Avenue/Curtiss Parkway) • NW 67 Avenue (from NW 36 Street to NW 22 Street) • NW 25 Street (from NW 72 Avenue to NW 67 Avenue) The meeting will consist of a formal presentation followed by an open discussion. Staff will be available to answer questions as time permits, in the order received. If your question is not responded to during the event, a response will be provided in writing afterwards.
