	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, July 20, 2023, is the Virtual Public Meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023, is the In-person Construction Open House from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Virtual Public Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please use the following link to register: https://bit.ly/ATMS_Yamato, or dial (213) 929-4212, Access Code: 253-976-676. A brief presentation followed by questions and comments will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please note that questions and comments may be submitted via online chat for the project team to address directly. The In-person Construction Open House is scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Spanish River Library, Blue Heron Mezzanine, located at 1501 NW Spanish River Blvd., Boca Raton, FL 33431. This meeting will have an informal open house format, with project representatives available to answer questions and address comments at any time during the meeting.

Subject:	Financial Management No.: 441755-1-52-01 Project Description: Advanced Transportation Management System (ATMS) Project in South Palm Beach County Project improvements include installing a new fiber optic network, installing Wireless Access Points (WAPs) at the Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) and Video Vehicle Detection Systems (VVDS), installing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Devices, including Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, installing Bluetooth travel time devices at eight (8) intersections on SR-5/US-1 from Royal Palm Way to Spanish River Boulevard, upgrading the signal system detection to include pedestrian/bicycle detection, and upgrading the Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) for compatibility with the Traffic Management Center (TMC). Construction will occur in phases to minimize impacts to the public Single lane closures are allowed nightly, Monday through Sunday, at the following locations: SR 5/US 1 from 10:00 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. and SR 794/Yamato Road from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Nighttime intersection detours will be required to install Bluetooth travel time devices; advanced notice will be provided with motorist and pedestrian detours clearly marked. Access to businesses, residences, driveways, and bus stops will be maintained at all times Construction will begin summer 2023 and is estimated to be completed in summer 2024. The estimated construction cost is $3.6 million.
