	The The Town of Bay Harbor Islands announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	IN-PERSON OPTION: Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 7 p.m. VIRTUAL OPTION: Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6 p.m.

PLACE:	IN-PERSON OPTION: Attend the Alternatives Public Workshop in-person on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 7 p.m., at Morris N. Broad Community Center, 1175 95th Street, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154. Visit the meeting any time between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to view the project video and displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions. There will be a formal presentation at 7:15 p.m., followed by an open discussion. VIRTUAL OPTION: Attend virtually on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6 p.m. This event will include a presentation of the project and a live question-and-answer component with the project team. Meeting materials will be posted to the project webpage www.bayharborislands-fl.gov by September 1, 2023. Please review the materials before attending the virtual event. Subject:	The Town of Bay Harbor Islands has scheduled an Alternatives Public Workshop to discuss the Broad Causeway Bridge, also known as the Shepard Broad Causeway Bridge, Replacement Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The objective of this study is to replace the aging Broad Causeway Bridge with a new structure that meets current design standards and is consistent with the United States Coast Guard regulatory requirements. The Broad Causeway Bridge Alternatives Public Workshop is being held to present information about the preliminary alternatives and provide the opportunity for the public to offer feedback. You can participate in the Broad Causeway Bridge Alternatives Public Workshop in-person or virtually. The same materials will be displayed at both the in-person and online events and will also be posted by September 1, 2023, on the project webpage at www.bayharborislands-fl.gov. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by Federal Highway Administration and FDOT. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
