	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, October 19, 2023, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

PLACE:	FDOT Turnpike, Turkey Lake Service Plaza Bldg. 5315 Ocoee, FL.

Subject:	Project Description: Florida Department of Transportation District 5 Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310/5311/5339 Grant Workshop The in-person open house format will allow public transit agencies and non-profits operating a transportation program an opportunity to view vehicles available on the recently executed contracts available via Transit Research Inspection Procurement Services (TRIPS). In addition, FDOT staff and subject matter experts will be available for questions and will provide insight on new resources and how to access resources listed in FDOT’s Grant Workshop Virtual Room. Attendees can stop by any time between 9am and 1pm EST. Information concerning the below grant programs will be discussed: - Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors & Individuals with Disabilities - Section 5311 Formula Grants for Rural Areas - Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Other subjects will include: - New Application Instructions - Implications of the 2020 Census - New Vehicle Contracts - Resources on Electric Vehicles - New Section 5310 Performance Reporting Module
