Overview



	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, October 18, 2023, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Thursday, October 19, 2023, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville 1714 SW 34th Street Gainesville, FL 32607

Subject:	During the February 2021 Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission meeting, the Commissioners directed staff to develop a Technical Assistance Group (TAG) to help address nonnative fish and wildlife issues in Florida. The purpose of this TAG is to enhance and promote ongoing dialogue and mutual understanding among organizations and agencies, and their respective stakeholders, by working together to address and examine the regulatory structure for nonnative fish and wildlife in Florida. The TAG will not serve as an advisory committee, nor is it delegated any decision-making authority. The objectives of this October 2023 meeting in Tampa will be for TAG members to continue discussions regarding regulation of non-native species.
