Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	November 6, 2023, 5 to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	In person: FDOT Training Center, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204; online at nflroads.com/VPH; by phone at (562) 247-8422, access code 464-904-901.

Subject:	FDOT proposes installation of a cul-de-sac where Indigo Drive currently connects to Emerson Street. This change will mitigate a sight distance issue associated with the planned I-95/Emerson Street interchange improvements expected to begin construction in 2024. The meeting will take place virtually and in-person at the FDOT Jacksonville Urban Office, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Staff and consultants will be available from 5 to 6 p.m. to answer questions and accept comments. A formal presentation and public comment period will begin at 6 p.m. Project documents and virtual participation instructions are available at nflroads.com/VPH. Participants who are unable to attend the webinar virtually or in person may listen to the meeting by calling (562) 247-8422 and entering access code 464-904-901. Both virtual and in-person participants will be given equal opportunity to ask questions and make oral statements that will become part of the public hearing record. Written statements or other exhibits may be submitted in the comments section at nflroads.com/VPH or by directing them to Will Lyons, Project Manager, via email at Will.Lyons@dot.state.fl.us or by mail to 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204. All exhibits or statements postmarked by Nov. 16, 2023 will become part of the public hearing record.
