	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	10/18/2023 (5:30pm - 7:30pm)

PLACE:	American Legion Kirby Stewart Post #24, 2000 75th Street W, Bradenton, FL 34209

Subject:	The Cortez Road Corridor Vision and Action Plan is being led by FDOT District One in partnership with Manatee County, Sarasota-Manatee MPO, local communities, and other stakeholders. The project corridor extends along Cortez Road from 121st Street Court West to 301 Boulevard. A public visioning workshop will be held October 18, 2023, between 5:30pm and 7:30pm at the American Legion Kirby Stewart Post #24 in Bradenton, Florida. The focus of the public visioning workshop will be to provide an overview of the Cortez Road project and to allow the public to provide input about the issues, opportunities, and desires for the Cortez Road project corridor. Participants will have an opportunity to participate in a series of small group mapping and visioning exercises that will guide short, medium, and long-term strategies for the corridor. All community input will be recorded as part of the visioning process. The meeting will have a presentation and small group activities for gathering feedback from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
