Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Nov. 8, 2023, 4:30 to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	In person: St. Augustine City Hall, Alcazar Room, 75 King St., St. Augustine, FL 32084; online: nflroads.com/VPH; by phone: (213) 929-4212, access code 498-228-403.

Subject:	FDOT is considering proposed changes to the intersection of State Road A1A (Avenida Menendez) at State Road 5A (King Street/Cathedral Place), including converting the existing intersection into an innovative configuration designed to provide safer and more efficient traffic movement throughout the intersection. The meeting will take place virtually and in-person at St. Augustine City Hall, Alcazar Room, 75 King Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084. FDOT staff and consultants will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to answer questions and accept comments. A formal hearing and public comment period will begin at 6 p.m. Project documents and virtual participation instructions are available at nflroads.com/VPH. Participants who are unable to attend the webinar virtually or in-person may listen to the meeting by calling by phone at (213) 929-4212 and entering access code 498-228-403. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will be able to view project documents, ask questions and make comments for the public record. Attendees who complete a speaker’s card will have the opportunity to make an oral statement that will become part of the public record. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits in place of or in addition to oral statements may do so at the meeting or by sending them to FDOT Project Manager Jeff Daugharty at Jeff.Daugharty@dot.state.fl.us or mailing Jeff Daugharty, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32204. Exhibits or statements postmarked on or before Nov. 18, 2023 will become part of the public record.
