	The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Hybrid (Virtual/In-person) Virtual: via Zoom and In-Person at the North Dade Regional Library Auditorium 2455 NW 183rd St, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056

Subject:	Notice is hereby given that Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) has scheduled a hybrid (virtual/in-person) public hearing regarding the Sunshine Station / GGMTF Kiss and Ride and Pedestrian Bridge Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study. The hybrid public hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. There are two options for you to attend: Virtual \| The virtual meeting will be held online via Zoom. Registration in advance is required to participate at www.miamidade.gov/virtual-meetings, by clicking Department Meetings and selecting the meeting on the calendar. In-Person \| The in-person meeting will be held at the North Dade Regional Library Auditorium, 2455 NW 183rd Street, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056. Registration is not required to participate. A PD&E study is the formal process that the DTPW and other transportation entities use to ensure that consideration is given to engineering design, project costs, environmental and social impacts, and public input in the development of major transportation projects to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act. The project aims to provide a safe connection for pedestrians, cyclists and transit users from the City of Miami Gardens to the Golden Glades Tri-Rail Station and the Golden Glades Multimodal Transportation Facility (GGMTF). The purpose of this PD&E study is to evaluate the potential social, cultural, physical, and environmental impacts of the proposed project, which includes a kiss-and-ride facility, located within the Sunshine State Industrial Park, to accommodate the pick-up and drop-off of transit passengers, as well as new pedestrian bridges to connect the kiss-and-ride to the Golden Glades Tri-Rail station and the GGMTF. DTPW is inviting all property owners and business owners, interested persons and organizations to this hybrid public hearing provide the opportunity for stakeholders to offer comments and express their views about this project and the proposed improvements. At this hearing, the DTPW will present the evaluation of potential environmental effects of the proposed Kiss-and-Ride Transit Facility and pedestrian bridges, garner public feedback, and answer questions about the proposed project. Project documents will be available for public viewing at the North Dade Regional Library beginning on October 17, 2023. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
