	The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, November 28, 2023, IN-PERSON - Open House: 4:30-6:30pm; Presentation & Public Comment Period: 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023, VIRTUAL - Open House: 5:30-6:00 pm; Presentation & Public Comment: 6:00 pm

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Two invites you to the Hybrid Public Meeting for the SR A1A Trail project (Financial Managment No. 447736-1). FDOT is conducting a Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study to establish an alignment and document environmental considerations for a trail along 3.2 miles of SR A1A from Magnolia Avenue to Twenty-Fourth Street in St. Johns County. The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the proposed improvements and provide an opportunity for the public to express their opinions and concerns regarding the project. For your convenience, there are several options to participate in the public meeting including an in-person option, a virtual/online option, and a "Listen Only" option. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information on the project and all comments received in-person, virtually or electronically, will be given equal weight. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
