	The Florida Department of Commerce (FloridaCommerce) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	FloridaCommerce announced the availability of funding for the Florida Digital Connectivity Technology Program. The application cycle will begin on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, and end on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Additionally, FloridaCommerce will host a webinar on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 p.m., Eastern Time. This webinar will serve as an opportunity for the general public to receive an overview on the application process and receive technical assistance from the Office of Broadband. The Office of Broadband’s Digital Connectivity Technology Program (DCTP) provides funds to subrecipients to enhance digital connectivity by providing essential devices, equipment, and training that will directly enable work, education, and health monitoring, located in communities with an identified critical need. Applicants should ensure that the proposed project is designed to: directly enable work, education, and health monitoring; address a critical need that resulted from or was made apparent or exacerbated by the public health emergency; and address a critical need of the community to be served by it. Interested applicants must submit an application through the portal at www.FloridaJobs.org/Broadband.
