	The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 2 invites you to the Hybrid Public Meeting for Race Track Road at US 1 (Philips Highway) Project Development & Environment Study (Financial Management No. 441220-2). The intersection of Race Track Road and US 1 is experiencing significant congestion during peak hours. A Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study is currently underway to evaluate alternatives to address traffic operations and safety improvements at the intersection of Race Track Road/Nocatee Parkway and US 1 (Philips Hwy). The proposed concept being presented will reduce the delay for motorists traveling through the intersection. The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the proposed improvements and provide an opportunity for the public to express their opinions and concerns regarding the project. For your convenience, there are several options to participate in the public meeting including an in-person option, a virtual/online option, and a dial in option. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information on the proposed project and all comments received in-person, virtually or electronically, will be given equal weight. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
