	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	Financial Project Identification Number: 437153-1 Efficient Transportation Decision Making Number: 14280 Project Description: Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for Widening Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) from West of US 441 (SR 7) to Powerline Road (SR 845) in Broward County, Florida The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise will hold a Public Hearing for the above referenced project. The proposed improvements include widening of the Sawgrass Expressway and Florida’s Turnpike, and improvements to the US 441, Lyons Road, and Florida’s Turnpike interchanges with the Sawgrass Expressway. The improvements include direct connections between Florida’s Turnpike and the planned SW 10th Street Connector project. This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested people an opportunity to review the study and express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social/economic, cultural, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the hearing, along with informational videos. All hearing materials will be posted to the project website the day of the virtual hearing. Draft project documents are available for review through March 11, 2024, at the Parkland Library, 6620 N University Dr., Parkland, FL 33067, (M-Th: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Fri & Sat: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Draft project documents are also available on the project website, www.Sawgrass441toPowerline.com, and will be available at the in-person Public Hearing.
